Dear Soccer Family & Friends:

The SVSLV Soccer Club & the Santa Cruz County Breakers Club are pleased to introduce the all-new spring 4v4 League.  This is an exciting new program that will provide an opportunity for our players to continue to play and develop their soccer skills in an exciting small-sided game format.

What it’s about:

·       Small Field of Play

·       Four Players on Each Team - No Keepers

·       Lot’s of Ball Touches & Lot’s of Skill Development

·       Fast Paced Play

The Season will run from early April to early June 2009 and most games will be played at Skypark in Scotts Valley, CA.  Players must be at least four (4) years old on January 1, 2009 to be eligible to play.  We are currently planning on age groups U5 – U12.  The early registration deadline for this exciting program is February 16, 2009 (registrations post-marked after this date will be subject to a late registration fee).

More information on our program (including the rules etc.) is available at the Club’s website at www.svslvsoccerclub.org - check it out!  In addition, we have enclosed a 4v4 registration form.

Be a part of this exciting new program. A number of recent studies have shown that small-sided games and leagues are the future of developing young soccer players’ skills.

Sincerely,

The SVSLV Soccer Club Board of Directors
