Hi soccer families, here is the latest update on practices and games.
Practices: Coaches, please monitor the AQI levels in your practice area. Do not practice when AQI levels are “unhealthy” for children. In the “moderate level”, you may hold practices and should minimize high physical effort activities, if you decide to practice. Based on personal concerns, parents should postpone all soccer club activities if needed.

Air Quality Monitoring: http://air.mbuapcd.org
Home Games: For home games this weekend, based on reports, it is not looking favorable for weekend games. It will depend on the air quality tomorrow or Saturday morning. Similar to a rain out, we may wait until 8 am the morning of games to make a determination. If a decision is made sooner, a notice will go out. Coaches can preemptively mutually agree not to play this weekend and should (1) notify their families and (2) notify the firstname.lastname@example.org and email@example.com to cancel their game.
Early Morning Games: For teams that have early morning games, we may decide the night before to cancel games. If you are playing an opposing team coming from out of the area, please have a communication plan in place with the opposing coach.
Away Games: For away games this weekend, coaches will need to be in contact with the opposing coach and share that information directly with families.
Recreational Makeup Games: Typically, we do not schedule makeup games for recreational teams. For fields that continue to be striped for comp (U10 and older), if teams mutually agree to play, there is a possibility to play on Saturday, December 1. SV/SLV SC can provide field space and refs, assuming fields are still open and not closed due to rain. If you want to try and schedule a game, please email firstname.lastname@example.org. High school age teams should check with their high school coach to avoid violating CCS rules.
Comp Team Reschedules: Please following the normal rescheduling policy. Teams have been granted an extension by CCSL to December 9th to finish games. High school age teams would need to check with their high school coach to avoid violating CCS rules. Coaches, please continue to provide information to your families about your plans.
No Dogs at Practices and Games: An important reminder that dogs are not permitted on any part of the soccer fields or sidelines with the exception of service dogs. This applies to both games and practices. This also applies to fields that would otherwise allow dogs on leash.
