Manage Club Registrar Coordinators, keeping an accurate record of all players and coaches registered in the Club; submit required registration forms to the League governing bodies and otherwise comply with the League registration requirements, including preparation of player identification cards. Ensure that all coaches, employees, and board members have completed their Club required background screenings, live scans, and SafeSport training prior to working with players. 

Manage the acquisition and development of fields for the Club usage, liaison with the San Lorenzo Valley School District, the County of Santa Cruz, and the City of Scotts Valley to manage Memorandums of Understanding, coordinate contracts and payments for said fields with the Director of Finance & Procurement, obtain Certificates of Insurance for each entity, coordinate with school districts and other organizations for provision of long-term field maintenance. 

Manage club recreational schedulers and oversee Club field usage and maintenance including the allocation of fields for recreational practice, coordination of scheduling and rescheduling of games for all recreational teams, management of any weekly field cleanup; and oversee preparation and maintenance of fields for games and practices by managing Field Painters, Field Maintenance, and Restroom services suppliers.

Who shall manage club marketing activities including publicity, communications, websites, social media, club store, and sponsorships. 

Manage marketing communications for Recreational Team registration, Competitive Team tryouts, skills clinics, Club camps, Club attendance at professional soccer matches, etc.

Manage any Club-related social media accounts; oversee the sales of spirit wear, stickers, or other tools intended to promote a positive image for the Club within the community. 

Website management including configuration and content; work closely with the Secretary & Technology Director, Director(s) of Coaching, and Directory of Club Operations to post information on Club recruitment efforts, events, programs, game schedules, rain-out notifications, heat guidelines, etc.

Club sponsorship oversight including the acquisition of team sponsors; working with the Director of Finance & Procurement to ensure proper uniform sponsorship display, obtain sponsorship banners for display at fields, obtain sponsorship plaques, maintain communications with the sponsors, and insure sponsorship payment, maintain records regarding sponsor fees.

Manage Futsal, Skills Clinic, and Club Camp Coaches; oversee our Futsal, Skills Clinic and Camp programs. 

Supports the Competitive Coordinator in recruitment of coaches for U13+ competitive teams for Board approval, support the U13+ portion of the Competition Committee including management of club tryouts, assist in recruiting and training competitive team managers, ensure coaches complete any licensure required by the Club, assist the President & Safety / Disciplinary Director and Competitive Coordinator with U13+ complaints and/or disciplinary issues involving recreational or competitive team coaches, and communicate duties/responsibilities to team coaches per League governing bodies and Club bylaws, rules, policies and practices.

This role will also manage the recruitment of coaches for affiliated U13+ recreational teams, assist the Director of Club Operations in forming U13+ recreational teams, serve as the primary liaison for U13+ recreational team coaches and the Club, partner with the Director of Club Operations to ensure all U13+ coaches are properly registered and have submitted their background checks, coordinate with the Club’s other Directors of Coaching to manage any pre-season coaches’ meetings, coach clinics, and represent the U13+ teams’ coaches at the meetings of the Board of Directors.
